Infant Baptism

Parents wishing to have their children baptized first contact the parish office. They, in turn, will be contacted by a member of the Baptism Committee who will arrange an initial visit to explain the process and to answer any questions they may have. Since Baptism in an initiation into the Faith Community all Baptisms are done in the context of one of our Sunday Liturgies and are normally by immersion.

RCIA and RCIA Adapted for Teens

The Rite for the Christian Initiation of Adults is the church's way to warmly welcome new members into the faith by providing appropriate spiritual formation according to each person's needs. RCIA adapted for Teens is a process whereby children of catechetical ages (7th through 12th  grades) are prepared for full initiation into our Faith Community. Teens who were not baptized as infants, were baptized in another Christian tradition or were baptized as infants but have never received an religious education or sacramental preparation are welcome.

Confirmation for Teens and Adults

The Sacrament of Confirmation is offered annually for those who are sophomore in high school or older. Sessions run August through May. Teenagers must have two years of catechesis immediately prior to receiving Confirmation.  Classes for adults are held twice a year, in the Fall and in the Spring.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Saturday from 3:00 pm - 3:45 pm or by calling Fr. Bill and making an appointment. Communal Services of Reconciliation are offered during Advent and Lent. First Reconciliation is through our Religious Education Program.

Marriage

Wedding arrangements must be made at least six months prior to the wedding. Each couple will be required to participate in pre-marriage instructions. At least one of the individuals must be registered at Most Holy Trinity one year prior to the Wedding.

Care of the Sick

Ministers of Care bring the Eucharist to those who are confined to their homes, are in nursing homes or in Adult Care Homes on a monthly basis. Fr. Bill normally visits on a monthly basis. Persons in the hospital should contact the Pastoral Care Department or the nurse if they would like to receive communion or be anointed by the hospital chaplain.
