The word "sacramentum" means "a sign of the sacred." The seven sacraments are ceremonies that point to what is sacred, significant and important in our lives.  We believe they are special occasions for experiencing God's saving presence in our lives.  In the spirit of the Second Vatican Council we celebrate the sacraments in community as often as we can.
